Mission

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” ~Lao Tzu. Welcome to the powerful and healing journey of counseling.  I have 13 years experience in the field of mental wellness and addictions, with the last seven as a master’s level clinician.  I treat all age groups except kiddos younger than five years of age.  I have an eclectic counseling style, influenced by several respected theories.  School aged children, adolescents, young adults, and young professionals are a particularly good fit for me, but I enjoy working with a wide variety of folks.  My style is especially suited for those who need a safe place to develop insight and heal.

The relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of the counseling process; I strive to create a safe, genuine, and welcoming environment for all.  I hope to help lighten your load and support you in accessing the wisdom you already hold within yourself.

I have experience with: stress management; depression; anxiety; professional career stress; addictions; chronic illness; interpersonal challenges; career counseling; communication skills; LGBTQQAI+; trauma; existential concerns; school support and advocacy; parenting; play therapy; rehabilitation/psychosocial adjustments; and alternative lifestyles.
